Before Dusk was a spin-off video game based on the source code I had developed a little while previously for the video game Unidad Moribunda. It featured the same mechanics and weapons but adjusted with an all-new wave-based mission system, a scripted storyline, and characters.
The story follows Ryan, a freshman who has started getting weary of the COVID-19 pandemic. He ventures off to college only to find it empty, but unbeknownst to him, there were certain trials being carried out that turned people into mindless zombies. The game follows Ryan as he survives ever-increasingly large waves of zombies until wave 10 where he successfully escapes after going through an ordeal of convincing authorities over the phone that he is being attacked by zombies.
